1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information we receive automatically when you use our website, and information we obtain from third parties to help us evaluate your property.
Information you provide
- Contact information — your name, phone number, and email address.
- Property information — the address of the property you’re considering selling and details you share about its condition.
- Communications — the content of messages, emails, or calls you send or make to us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and the timestamps of your visits.
- Cookies and similar technologies — we use a minimal set of first-party cookies to run the site (for example, to remember whether you have submitted a form). We do not use ad-network cookies on this page.
Information from third parties
To prepare an offer we may look up publicly available property information (assessor records, comparable sales, and similar public data). We do not buy your contact information from third parties.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To evaluate your property and prepare a cash offer.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer service.
- To contact you about your offer and the transaction — by phone, SMS/text message, and email — with your consent as described below.
- To send you marketing communications about our services, only where you have opted in.
- To operate, maintain, and improve our website.
- To comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
3. SMS/Text and Call Communications (TCPA)
- Consent is not a condition of any purchase or transaction. You can request and receive an offer without giving your consent to marketing calls or texts — just email us at offers@gghomes.org.
- Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
- Message and data rates may apply. Consult your mobile carrier for details.
- To opt out of text messages at any time, reply STOP to any message from us. For help, reply HELP or contact us at the email above.
- To stop marketing calls, tell the caller to place you on our internal do-not-call list, or email us at the address above with the phone number to remove.
- We do not share the phone numbers or SMS opt-in information collected on this website with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
5. Your Choices and Rights
Marketing communications
You can opt out of marketing calls, texts, and emails at any time — reply STOP to any text, click “unsubscribe” on any marketing email, or email us at privacy@gghomes.org. Transactional communications about an active transaction may continue even after you opt out of marketing.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect about you and how we use and share it.
- Request access to a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising).
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for anything beyond what is necessary to provide our services).
- Be free from retaliation for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@gghomes.org from the email address on file. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Other US states
Residents of other US states (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others with similar privacy laws) have comparable rights and can contact us at the same address to exercise them.
6. Data Retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as we have a business reason to do so — typically for the duration of any transaction, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and audit requirements. TCPA consent records (including the language you agreed to, IP address, and timestamp) are retained for as long as we may reasonably need them for regulatory recordkeeping.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Our website and services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice (for example, a banner on the site or an email if we have your address). Please review this policy periodically.
